Orwell's London pubs

Orwell himself, several of his biographers and the London Literary Pub Crawl have identified pubs that he patronised and that probably contributed to "Moon Under Water". Recent photographs of several of these are shown below. Like the areas in which they are located, many (all?) have been gentrified, perhaps even to the extent that today Orwell might not have rated them very highly.
